Renovation of R107 seats

I am new to this forum and I don't speak Danish (I can read a bit), so apologies if the topic has been already discussed somewhere.

Does someone know an upholster in Denmark who does good job with 1980's MB seats? I have 1984 280 SL and the seats have become a bit 'saggy' - as is to be more or less expected. The fabric in both seats is almost as new, but the seat bases need work. I have considered to order from the UK based 'The SL Shop' their refurbishment kit, but would need someone to do the work. Besides of just swap over, their design seems to require some welding of the frame and I am not confident enough to try it myself.

Any suggestions for reliable and professional upholster would be very much appreciated.

Well, I have read a bit about leather upholstery in Poland, Stettin (=Szcecin)
www.polenrep.dk (I have thought not tried them myself...not a connection to them)

Well this was maybe off-topic... Since you asked only for replacing the partsby using a Danish supplier I found sonme links:

Thanks Bri_jac for the useful links. Now I have somewhere to start. I will get in touch with the Danish upholsters 1st and let the forum know how it goes.

Try ebay.de, here you can get a complete leather setup for you're 107. Only seat cover, bottom and so on is not included. I have no expirience with quality, delivery or any thing else. Just somthing i foudn while searching for some velour seatcovers for my SLC. Sadly i might have to go leather, since MB don't produce seatcovers any more.

yes please report back, since my brown velour seat fabric for my W107 in driver seat (Were ass sits) is worne out. And I have been wondering for some years if I shall replace all with leather, or a local expoert can just fix this seat only, so it will looklike the original seat.
